What innovative solutions or services does your company offer that align with the theme of TechHeads 2024?
Our core mission is to help people create homes to love. We do that by curating a selected assortment of Scandinavian design products and giving the best possible service. When you have more than 70 000 products and ship products to 70 countries every month, the need for innovative tech is paramount. Tech that ranges from steering our 130+ robots in our warehouse, AI to help our customer support team to always give the best service and in the end, create a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
How does your partnership with TechHeads 2024 benefit attendees and contribute to shaping the future of technology?
Modern commerce requires a blend of technology and creativity. It requires a wide range of technical partners to deliver an outstanding customer experience. We believe that by sharing our knowledge and learnings, we can inspire others to create new and exciting solutions to further adance the retail industry. Be it in the form of a new way to interact with customers, a new way to optimize logistics or a new way to create amazing shopping experiences.
Can you share a success story or case study that illustrates your company’s impact on the tech landscape?
We’re always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible within modern commerce. We do this both internally with our own custom tools and by helping our partners advance and develop their solutions that in the end will benefit alot of customers shopping world wide.
A testament to this is how we can manage prices to always be able to have the best price possible for all customers. Last Black Friday we set a new record of updating prices on our products to always be on point with our competitors. With 70 000 products, 13 different currencies across multiple markets the number of price adjustments in one day was +1 000 000.
All of these updates then needs to propagate to multiple internal systems and to our advertising partners like Google Shopping and Pricerunner. Which is easier said than done.
