Podcast Cyber Chats and Chill

Margarita Sallinen and Linda Nieminen are the founders of the podcast “Cyber Chats and Chill”, which aims to raise public awareness about cybersecurity in a simple, relaxed, and accessible manner. Through engaging dialogues with experts in the field, they shed light on various aspects of cybersecurity, making the topic understandable to a wide audience. They emphasize the importance of every individual’s role in strengthening Sweden’s defense against cyber threats. The Voluntary Radio Organisation (“FRO”) serves as a collaboration partner, while “Aktuell Säkerhet” is the media partner.

About Margarita Sallinen

Margarita Sallinen is an Information Security Consultant at Orange Cyberdefense, specializing in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). She also works at the Swedish Defence University on projects related to cybersecurity and emerging technology initiatives, and is developing the scenario for the national policy-oriented competition Cyber Challenge. With a background in war studies and a passion for cybersecurity, Margarita is dedicated to clarifying complex cyber threats and strengthening Sweden’s digital defense. Additionally, she proudly serves in the Swedish Armed Forces, specifically in the Home Guard, committed to enhancing national security from a military perspective as well.

About Linda Nieminen

Linda Nieminen is a Cyber security Consultant at AFRY, with expertise in both IT and information security. With a focus on the defense industry Linda has experience in accreditation of IT-systems for the national and international defense sector. She possesses an understanding of the security requirements and compliance standards essential for safeguarding sensitive defense-related information. With a degree in political science, she endeavors conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences to make cybersecurity accessible and actionable.

About Carl-Johan Ekelund

Carl-Johan Ekelund is the Team Lead for Security at Atea Sverige. In his role, he is responsible for a national team that works with business development in cybersecurity for all of Atea’s regions in Sweden but also collaboration with the other countries in the Nordic/Baltic group. The team ensures that Atea’s security offering is comprehensive across the area of cybersecurity.

Carl-Johan Ekelund has extensive experience in the field of security. Before he started at Atea, where he has now worked for eight years and had the role of information security consultant, he was the IT security manager at the County Council in Kalmar County. He has worked in the filed of cyber security for over 20 years and holds several certifications, including CISSP, CISA, and CRISC.
